AGGGGGGH moving house can be sooo stressful! I’m back, I had to take time out to move all my lovely stuff into my new and fab humble abode. Every year, every month I just accumulate more and more stuff which I don’t have the heart to throw out and so instead it takes, days, even weeks to get things put in the rightful place. Finally clothes, shoes, vases, candles, nick nacks all have a home. Now that the moving is done I can at last catch up on all things fashion, from reading my fav fashion mags to scouring the shops. I must explain the title of today’s post, Sally aka Meg Ryan’s character in When Harry Met Sally meets the modern-day of 2010 or so her fashion does. On a recent trip to the ever faithful Pennys I picked up a pair or beige, peg trousers for the summer. The late eighties style is perfect for this season, match with a pair of brogues and I’m good to go. But wait a recent viewing of one of Hollywood’s classic Rom Com’s saw Meg Ryan wearing the exact look! I scoured the internet for a still of the scene where Sally is wearing said look ( Harry and Sally are at the Museum) but I couldn’t find it anywhere! Instead I have posted a few pics from the movie and the gorg trousers from Penny’s. It is the perfect summer work look. Before I go in local fashion news Divine Boutique of Malahide are having a fashion show on Tuesday April 27 from 7 pm. Guests can enjoy a wine reception while DJ Darragh pumps out the tunes.
